Sharing an AI Text-to-Video Tool (Textideo)
by tian tian 04 Mar '26

04 Mar '26

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a tool I recently came across: Textideo. It’s an AI-powered platform that turns text prompts or images into short videos. The idea is simple — you describe a scene or concept in plain language, and the system generates a visual output based on that input. It can also add basic narration and structure scenes automatically. What makes it interesting is the workflow. Instead of writing a script, finding assets, editing footage, and adding voiceovers separately, the process is compressed into a single interface. For developers, educators, or content creators experimenting with visual storytelling, it can be a quick way to prototype ideas or generate demo content. Like most AI media tools, the results aren’t perfect and may require iteration. But as a lightweight way to move from “idea” to “visual draft,” it’s worth exploring. Just sharing in case it’s useful to anyone working on creative or educational projects. url: https://textideo.com

GSoc 2020 Participation Intent.
by Varad Bhatnagar 23 Jul '25

Respected Sir/ Ma'am I am Varad Bhatnagar from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. I am a student in the Computer Science Department here. I am interested in participating in GSoC 2020 by contributing to your organization. I am well versed with Operating System concepts such as Shells, Memory Allocators, Synchronization, Processes and Multithreading. Some of the projects that I have done as part of the coursework here are: 1. Writing my own mini Shell which mimics BASH Commands. I used several system calls and some of my own logic to accomplish this. 2. Writing my own Memory allocator using Buddy System. 3. Building a Distributed Hash Table using the Chord Protocol. Please give me pointers on how to get started with your organization in this regard. Thanks and Regards Varad Bhatnagar IIT Bombay

Hi, I am Ishan Rai and I am interested in working on the project *Add varlink support to nmstate*. I have cloned and built the repository on my fedora 31. I have also undergone the proof of concept. I participated in Google Summer of Code'19 with Ganga under CERN-HSF and I am still an active part of the organization. I am hoping to participate in Google Summer of Code'20 with Fedora and become an active member of the community even after the periods ends. Regards, Ishan Rai GitHub: https://github.com/ishanrai05

Hi Huzaifa! I'm Justin Wilson, a final year student and an enthusiastic applicant for GSoC 2025. I'm excited to contribute to Fedora through the project titled “AI-Powered Log Triage and Security Alert Aggregator for Fedora Infrastructure”. I've submitted my proposal, which focuses on enhancing Fedora's incident response pipeline by building an intelligent triage system for logs and alerts and integrate with tools like OpenAI and Hugging Face. You can find the full proposal here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E7QSB_sTxwdF7HS-xnNl67S4XqqoV9YT/view?usp=… I would really appreciate any feedback or thoughts on the idea. Looking forward to your guidance and collaboration. Warm regards, Justin Wilson John GitHub: https://github.com/codecat1111
