Hey All,
Fedora applied and got selected as a Mentoring Organization for Google Summer of Code 2025!! I, Sumantro Mukherjee (OA) and Fernando Mancera (OA) welcome each of you to participate in this year's projects. This year we have seasoned mentors who have decided to mentor the students. We will soon have an official announcement on the Fedora Magazine with more details about the mentors and OAs , some housekeeping notes before starting off the contribution period!
Stay tuned!
Fantastic news, Sumantro! Wishing a successful and fun round :)

Hi everyone!
I'm Arpit Yadav, an undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. I've contributed to cargo-semver-checks, a linter for semantic versioning in the Rust ecosystem. Having used Fedora for quite some time, I’m excited about the opportunity to give back to the community through GSoC. Looking forward to your guidance and any tips you might have!
