You can definitely submit pull requests to wlroots on
src.fedoraproject.org. As a matter of fact, we in the sway SIG (which
maintains this package) often update packages via pull requests instead
of pushing commits directly.

Sway on PinePhone

Hi all
This is just a heads up and purely informational.
Using the work of Nikhil Jha as stepping stone I've managed to get Fedora and Sway running on my PinePhone.
I have yet to configure it to actually react to touch input but that will happen in the coming days. It runs though and pretty well I would dare to say.
My plan is to document my progress somewhere so it can be reproducible in some sense of the word. Who knows, there might be other neckbeards out there who wants to run it.
PostmarketOS already has a sway build which seems to be working so there's probably a few solutions to find within their work.

Sway Systemd Integration

Instructions on the sway wiki[1] detail creating and running a systemd user target for sway. This allows you to run services such as the status bar, swayidle, mako and others as user units, granting you all of the usual advantages.
As far as I can tell, this is not included with the fedora sway package. As this could be useful for most users of fedora on sway, I'm curious if including this has been considered by the SIG.

Review request for waybar

(https://github.com/Alexays/Waybar) and I'm looking for reviewers (and
sponsor). Since the project is a part of sway ecosystem, this list is
an obvious first thought for me.
If you are already using waybar, feel a need to review something or
just want to help me take my first step to contributing to Fedora, you
are welcome at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1798811.
I'd also like to ask if Sway SIG wants to co-own the package. It seems
to be fitting with SIG goal - provide a good user experience for sway,
and while I think I have a good track record maintaining copr
repository I feel that official Fedora package takes a bit more
responsibility.

Coordination board(s) on teams.fedoraproject.org (Fedora's taiga instance)?

Hi list,
what's your opinion on creating a SIG wide board on
teams.fedoraproject.org? We could use that to track long term
undertakings via Epics (e.g. add test gating to sway) and smaller tasks
via Tasks (e.g. package review requests). This would help at least me,
since I am currently a little lost what our current state is and what
needs to be done and where help is required.
