Hi,
you can try this:
https://jkonecny.fedorapeople.org/sway-sig/Fedora-Sway-Live-37-x86_64-220817...
Beware, ISO needs 3D accelleration enabled.
Also, I know right now sway-sig is working on automatic builds. I don't know details but if you want to know more please join our matrix channel.

Hi All,
Semi-automatic builds are available here https://sway-sig.kutara.io/iso/ I say semi-automatic as there’s some minor infra plumbing to implement still. Regardless though this will be home to the builds. Unless anyone has objections fresh ISOs will be built daily and on pushes to the “sway” branch inside our fedora-kickstarts repo on gitlab.
Some proper documentation should follow shortly.
Thanks, Anthony

displayed the splash screen and swaybar but I couldn't get any interaction - using Windows-D did not allow me to start a term - the hot-key command was somehow being lost to the VM?
Anyway I will try the new build link and see how that goes for the VM, and then when I get time I will also try it out on my old Zenbook laptop.

Excellent! - I will keep working on it . .
Made some progress with a VM but couldn't use the Win key and couldn't start any apps.
My laptop's not booting from USB so I had to work out how to boot the ISO from grub.cfg - after that I got much the same result as with the VM - got a desktop and swaybar, the mouse can hover over the swaybar items and show more info etc. However, now that it is real hardware, I can also use the Win key too - so I was able to do Win-D and choose apps but none of them do anything? eg alacrity is not installed and when I try to do:
dnf install kitty
also nothing happens . .
Is that what I should be getting with the current state of the iso?
Thanks,
Phil.

Hard to say. I don't think others are facing this issue but truth is that I'm not able to test it these days.

Hi All,
Semi-automatic builds are available here https://sway-sig.kutara.io/iso/ I say semi-automatic as there’s some minor infra plumbing to implement still. Regardless though this will be home to the builds. Unless anyone has objections fresh ISOs will be built daily and on pushes to the “sway” branch inside our fedora-kickstarts repo on gitlab.
I created a VM with virt-manager:
- Saw a complaint about not finding /sbin/sysctl but the install
seemed to finish.
- Had a blank screen for a while but hitting various keys eventually
displayed the splash screen and swaybar but I couldn't get any interaction - using Windows-D did not allow me to start a term - the hot-key command was somehow being lost to the VM?
Anyway I will try the new build link and see how that goes for the VM, and then when I get time I will also try it out on my old Zenbook laptop.
Some proper documentation should follow shortly.
I just tried 20220826 but there doesn't seem to be any change from 23?

Hi Phil,
Hard to say. I don't think others are facing this issue but truth is that I'm not able to test it these days.
I eventually got a LiveUSB stick to work and installed it on my old Zenbook - looking good now!
Thanks to everyone involved!
Phil.
