Fedora 16 Final Test Compose 1 (TC1) Available Now!
by Andre Robatino
As per the Fedora 16 schedule [1], Fedora 16 Final Test Compose 1 (TC1)
is now available for testing. Please see the following pages for
download links (including delta ISOs) and testing instructions.
Serverbeach1 is still available as a mirror (but with approximately a 1
hour lag behind dl), so if you are getting a slow download, try
replacing "dl" with "serverbeach1" in the download URL.
*NOTE*: The x86_64 install images are currently missing due to trouble
making efiboot.img. Hopefully they will be added later.

meet the Final Release Criteria [6]. Help is available on #fedora-qa on
irc.freenode.net [7], or on the test list [8].

Fedora Packager for Eclipse Test Day tomorrow (2011-10-13)
by Adam Williamson
Hey, everyone. It's that time again - there's a Test Day coming up
tomorrow. This one's of particular interest to you devel list readers,
so prick up your ears!
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2011-10-13_Fedora_Packager_for_Ec...
The topic is the Fedora Packager for Eclipse plugin, which integrates
Eclipse with the Fedora packaging workflow. It's a pretty neat tool and
fun to play with even if you don't wind up sticking with it full time,
so if you have a spare bit of time do come along and help with the test
day - you'll probably enjoy yourself. The event will be happening in
#fedora-test-day on IRC and all the instructions are on the Wiki page.
Thanks, all.

Note for people with EFI installs: install grub-efi!
by Adam Williamson
Hey, folks. There's a grub update in updates-testing atm (being pushed
stable soon) which splits the EFI stuff off into a new grub-efi
subpackage. If you have an EFI install of F16 you will need to have
grub-efi installed or else your system won't boot any more. So, if you
have an EFI install, install the grub-efi package!

* Your amazing agenda item here.
Please do join us if you are a proventester, want to become one, or

an attempt to get things working better within our existing updates
policy.
Hope to see folks there!
