Fedora 26 crypto-policies Test Day this Thursday, 2017-03-30
by Stanislav Zidek
I would like to announce another Fedora Test Day [1], this time focused on
general 'System-wide crypto policy' [2] and also recent 'OpenSSH Crypto
Policy (Client)' change [3].
The idea of crypto-policies package is to enable the administrator to set a
consistent security level for crypto in whole system in one place.
Purpose of this Test Day is to get familiar with the whole mechanism, test
interoperability of particular policies with the real world systems and
ideally also with specific crypto-related applications you develop (e.g.,
some client/server app using TLS/SSL protocol).
The Test Day page [1] and the test cases are still being revised and
tweaked as I write this, but as the week goes along, all the instructions
you need to run the tests will be present there. As always, the event will
be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC. If you don’t know how to use IRC,
you can read these instructions [4], or just use WebIRC [5].

Proposal to CANCEL: 2017-03-27 Fedora QA Meeting
by Adam Williamson
Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting tomorrow. Once again I
don't have anything significant for the agenda as we're mostly busy
with Alpha validation. We'll likely have stuff to check in on next week.
If you think there is something we need to discuss, please do reply to
this mail and we can go ahead and schedule the meeting! Thanks.
