Hi folks!
Thought some of you may be interested in a Fedora test day
happening Thursday (2018-04-19): we'll be testing upgrades from Fedora
26 and 27 to Fedora 28. If you have a bit of time, please do stop by
#fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC and help test. All the information on
how to test and so on is on the Test Day page:

Thanks folks!
Thanks

Hey All,
Monday 2018-04-16 will be Anaconda Test Day![0]
Featuring one of the big changes[1] of Fedora 28,
we would test to make sure that all the functionalities are performing as they should.
Anaconda will be split into several modules that will communicate over DBus.
The goal is to introduce a stable way to interact with Anaconda to support its customization,
extensibility, and testability.
It will be easier to monitor the installation,
maintain an install class or an addon, drop some modules or provide your own UI.
It's also pretty easy to join in: all you'll need is F28 image (which you can grab from the wiki page).
As always, the event will be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC.

# F28 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2018-04-16
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net
Hi folks! We have 6 proposed blockers and 5 proposed freeze exception
issues for Final to review, so let's have a review meeting on Monday.
If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ .
We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F28 can be found on the
wiki [0].
For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process,
check out these links:

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good weekend and see you on Monday!

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting on Monday. We've met
the last two weeks, and I don't think there's anything urgent on the
agenda.
If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.
Thanks!
There *will* be a blocker review meeting, of course.

Hey All,
Tuesday 2018-04-13 will be Kernel Test Day[1] Test Day! As Fedora 28
will be using 4.16 , we want to test it across all arcs and different
variants of F28.
So this is an important Test Day! Test Day will focus on testing the new
kernel.
As always, the event will be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC.

This test day will focus on testing Fedora Atomic Host, Fedora Atomic
Workstation
and Fedora Cloud Base content.
It's also pretty easy to join in: all you'll need is F28 image (which you
can grab from the wiki page [0]).

Hey All,
A gentle reminder, Today,2018-04-10 is Add-on Modularity Test Day![0]
Featuring one of the big chnages[1] of Fedora 28 Server,
we would test to make sure that all the functionalities are performing as they should.
We need to ensure it's working well enough and catch any remaining issues.
Since Modularity is a concept we have been experimenting for some time now, we would love to
have some good testing done while we ship it with Fedora 28.
Add on Modularity can be tested as of Fedora 28 Beta and this installment will focus on
listing, enabling and installing modules from various streams and specified profiles.
It's also pretty easy to join in: all you'll need is F28 image (which you can grab from the wiki page).
As always, the event will be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC.
