# F38 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2023-04-03
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.libera.chat
Hi folks! We have 2 proposed Final blockers and 2 proposed Final freeze
exception issues to review, so let's have a review meeting.
If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ .
Remember, you can also now vote on bugs outside of review meetings! If
you look at the bug list in the blockerbugs app, you'll see links
labeled "Vote!" next to all proposed blockers and freeze exceptions.
Those links take you to tickets where you can vote.
https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/blocker-review has instructions on how
exactly you do it. We usually go through the tickets shortly before the
meeting and apply any clear votes, so the meeting will just cover bugs
where there wasn't a clear outcome in the ticket voting yet. **THIS
MEANS IF YOU VOTE NOW, THE MEETING WILL BE SHORTER!**
We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F38 can be found on the
wiki [0].

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good weekend and see you on Monday!

Hey All,
As we come closer to Fedora 38 release dates, it's time to test upgrades.
Fedora 38 has a lot of changesets and it becomes essential that we
test the graphical upgrade methods as well as the command line.
As a part of this test day[0], we will test upgrading from a full
updated, F36 and F37 to the F38 for all architectures(x86_64,ARM,aarch
64) and variants(WS,cloud,server,silverblue,IoT).
The results can be submitted here[1]
As usual, we hang out on the #fedora-test-day, should you have questions.

Hey All,
The Fedora 38 CoreOS Test Week focuses on testing FCOS based on Fedora
38. The FCOS next stream is already rebased on Fedora 38 content,
which will be coming soon to testing and stable. To prepare for the
content being promoted to other streams the Fedora CoreOS and QA teams
have organized test days on Tues, March 28, 2023 (results accepted
through Sun , 02 April). Refer to the wiki page[0] for links to the
test cases and materials you’ll need to participate.
The FCOS and QA team will meet and communicate with the community sync
on a Google Meet[1] at the beginning of test week and async over
multiple matrix/element channels. Read more about them in this
announcement[2].
