Quick update: we now have .7 revisions of both:
http://dlehman.fedorapeople.org/updates-738964.7.img
http://dlehman.fedorapeople.org/updates-738964.7-nohammer.img
Rest of the email applies unchanged.
Before anyone wastes any (more) time it turns out the .7 images had a
problem: the .7-nohammer.img one actually has the 'hammer' patch, i.e.,
it's identical to .7.img. So there's no point testing both.
Our testing of .7 has established that the 'hammer' patch causes quite a
few problems, so we've gone ahead and got the anaconda team to build a
16.19 without the 'hammer' patch, and we're doing a little testing on
that right now. If it looks good enough, we'll build RC2 with that
anaconda.
If you want to help test 16.19, tflink is working on a boot.iso and I'm
uploading a live image, both of which include the newer anaconda. We'll
mail when those are available. Please don't bother with any more testing
of the updates.imgs. Thanks all!
