Fedora 7 Test Update: kdelibs4-3.93.0-10.fc7
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Test Update Notification
FEDORA-2007-2260
2007-09-25 08:25:11
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : kdelibs4
Product : Fedora 7
Version : 3.93.0
Release : 10.fc7
URL : http://www.kde.org/
Summary : K Desktop Environment 4 - Libraries
Description :
Libraries for the K Desktop Environment 4.
WARNING: This is a beta version. It probably has many bugs left.
Also, the API and ABI are NOT fully stable yet (soft freeze only).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update contains KDE 4.0 (beta) development libraries. The following new
packages are provided:
* kdelibs4: KDE 4 libraries
* kdepimlibs: KDE 4 PIM libraries
* kdebase4: KDE 4 core runtime files
These packages can be used to develop, build and run KDE 4 applications within
KDE 3 or any other desktop environment.
The kdebase4 package also includes a beta version of the Dolphin file manager as
a technology preview. One known issue is that Dolphin currently fails to start
up when run from the KDE 3 menu, it works when run from Konsole. There may also
be other issues. If you need a stable version of Dolphin, please install the
d3lphin package, which is based on KDE 3 and can be safely installed next to
kdebase4.
These packages are designed to:
* comply with the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) and
* be completely safe to install in parallel with KDE 3, including the -devel
packages.
In order to achieve this, we made 2 changes to the -devel packages:
* the library symlinks are installed to /usr/lib(64)/kde4/devel,
* kconfig_compiler and makekdewidgets have been renamed kconfig_compiler4 and
makekdewidgets4, respectively.
These changes should be completely transparent to KDE 4 applications using cmake
to build (the vast majority) because we also patched FindKDE4Internal.cmake to
match these changes.
Note that kdebase4 does NOT include the KDE 4 Desktop (kdebase-workspace, i.e.
Plasma, KWin version 4 etc.), which is still too incomplete and unstable for
daily use and which would conflict with KDE 3.
In addition, updated versions of:
* kde-filesystem, to include directories and RPM macros needed by KDE 4 and
* kdelibs (3.5.7), to remove the no longer needed package-level conflict with
kdelibs4-devel from kdelibs-devel
are provided with this update.

makekdewidgets4, respectively.

* Sun Sep 9 2007 Kevin Kofler <Kevin(a)tigcc.ticalc.org> 6:3.5.7-22
- Remove Conflicts: kdelibs4-devel, let kdelibs4 decide whether we conflict
(allows using the old /opt/kde4 versions for now)

Version : 1.3.12.2
Release : 2.fc7
URL : http://haproxy.1wt.eu/
Summary : HA-Proxy is a TCP/HTTP reverse proxy for high availability environments

availability environments. Indeed, it can:
- route HTTP requests depending on statically assigned cookies
- spread the load among several servers while assuring server persistence
through the use of HTTP cookies
- switch to backup servers in the event a main one fails
- accept connections to special ports dedicated to service monitoring
- stop accepting connections without breaking existing ones
- add/modify/delete HTTP headers both ways
- block requests matching a particular pattern
