Dear all, As of updates to machine rawhide report 20080126, I get the following warning from setroubleshoot: Is it related to the previous one, dbus-daemon, or is it a new one? Thanks, Antonio Summary: SELinux is preventing dbus-daemon-lau(/lib/dbus-1/dbus-daemon-launch-helper) (system_dbusd_t) "execute" to <Unknown> (consolekit_exec_t). Detailed Description: SELinux denied access requested by dbus-daemon-lau(/lib/dbus-1/dbus-daemon-launch-helper). It is not expected that this access is required by dbus-daemon-lau(/lib/dbus-1/dbus-daemon-launch-helper) and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: Sometimes labeling problems can cause SELinux denials. You could try to restore the default system file context for <Unknown>, restorecon -v <Unknown> If this does not work, there is currently no automatic way to allow this access. Getting Rawhide

Could someone post an exact cookbook for installing rawhide on an x86_64 machine? I tried diskboot with several URLs but it always failed not being able to access one or more files. I tried loading FC8 and, setting the repository to development, and then upgrading but this results in many conflicts with fc8 versions as well as missing dependencies. KDE 4 live image for i686

Hi. I've prepared a KDE4 live image for i686 for testing purposes. Last weeks rawhide images didn't include the kde one because of a problem with intel video drivers. Kwin would automatically enable compositing support on such cards which seems to be broken atm. But we haven't a bug report for that, yet. These images are based on rawhide from 2007-12-20 and also include Jeremy's modifications to the kickstarts (like on the normal rawhide image). I'm not sure if installation would work. With my limited test capabilities over christmas I cannot test these properly. In my tests on one machine I've got problems with the partitioning. If this also happens to you, please bug it. Rawhide x86_64 diskboot.img panics

Loads normally but panics when it cannot find init file. e2fsprogs-1.40.4-6.fc9 bug

I upgraded to e2fsprogs-1.40.4-f last night and had a lockup. I did an unclean shutdown of my rawhide system.
