ACB10US Targus USB Bluetooth Adapter with Fedora 10
by Andrew Kenton Mitchell
I see my ACB10US Targus USB Bluetooth Adapter in dmesg.
It worked great with FC9 and early FC10.
Lately (last month or so) FC10 on my laptop won't recognize it. I can't
seem to figure out why.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

I have seen that several times. Only that on one of my testing machines, I have sound(Toshiba Laptop) and the other(a regular Desktop) I don't :(
I have seen a similar message except the phonon part, but sound was working? and now it is not :(

I did the suggested changes, but still no sound :(

I have a similar problem after yum-upgrading from F9 to rawhide.
PackageKit fails periodically, complaining
'org.freedesktop.packagekit.system-sources-refresh no', but if I try to
edit the corresponding implicit authorizations, the 'Modify' button stays
insensitive, so I have no way to implement the change.

GlitchFreeAudio, features for F10
by Antonio Olivares
Dear fellow testers and/or developers,
Upon reading the Fedora Test Day announcement, I decided to take a look at the the page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/10/FeatureList
I see many good things coming, however, I run rawhide on two machines and I can play sound on only one of them. The following page
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/GlitchFreeAudio
introduces new things that look great and looking at the
Test Plan
How can I help out and in a way get back sound on the machine that does not have any. I have played with alsamixer -c 0, and alsamixer -c 2, because the machine shows 2 devices when I do a aplay -l, only one plays. All values are at 0 and I increase them to about 87% and still I cannot play anything. I have lost sound and got it back with updates, but this time for about a little more than a week, I have no sound. I am concerned that sound will not be coming back. I have been running rawhide on this machine since Fedora 5 Test 2 and even went through pulseaudio introduced on this machine and sound worked flawlessly. I do not know for sure which update brought sound to its knees, but it would be great that I can get sound back. I will appreciate any advice/hints/comments given so that I can help in getting the GlitchFreeAudio that is targeted for Fedora 10.
TIA,
Antonio
