So is it time for us to consider another solution such as TCMS? = analysis = Here I quoted the suggestion from Victer Chen: some advantages of TCMS: * Better to record, track and query test results, * Allow user focus on test contents instead of document maintenance. * Share test cases However, it couldn't be flexible as wiki. I think the most important things need balance are below: - Barriers Fedora should provide very low barriers. TCMS could be configured to allow anonymous user login and limit it's permission. Also, we can consider using fedora account to login TCMS. - Safety Wiki provides the ability to rollback content easily, while TCMS couldn't. What TCMS can do is recording all the history and allow user recovery it manually. But if we configure the permission well, it should not be a big problem. = enhancement recommendation = Work with TCMS team and package it to Fedora. Set up the system and use it in a small scale first. New section in Installation test matrix: i18n/l10n (non-English installs)

Hey folks! While looking at old trac tickets - https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/81 - I noticed that we actually have test cases for non-English installs: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:I18n_Installation but we've never put them in the release validation test pages. At present we cover keymap testing via the encrypted install and desktop login test cases, but whenever it's come up in the past, no-one's seemed really happy about that approach. And we haven't ever had an explicit test case for 'run the installer in languages other than English', even though we frequently encounter bugs in that - I usually do actually test it, but often later than we should be doing. So since we have these test cases around already, I figured let's just go ahead and use them. I've added a new section to the Installation matrix template: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Template:Installation_test_matrix#Internat... tomorrow I plan to clean up and modernize the test cases a bit, and then drop the non-English keymap bits from the other test cases. Does anyone reuse /boot or /var partitions ?

I have a multiboot setup, and add/remove distros often enough that a having a boot partition is a must for me. The boot partition's grub.cfg file just chainloads each distro's grub2 (located in each distro's partition; each distro has its own /boot). The boot partition's grub.cfg is updated manually when I install a new distro. My preferred setup would be a single boot partition with the necessary parts each distro's /boot automagically installed into a separate directory within the boot partition.
