Could be gdm or gnome-shell, not sure. If you can file a bug and attach
'journalctl --since=-30m > journal.log' that'd be useful. If you can
tighten
up the time estimate that keeps it a bit cleaner; so if you know the failed
login attempt on Wayland was about 5 minutes ago, you can do --since=-6m or
whatever, a little more is better than cutting it off. That is a minus
before the number.
Since you can't login, I'd ding it against component gdm. And then
post the URL for the bug here, it may be a blocker (for Wayland by
default, not the release since it works with X).
