Generally, a bug that is undergoing work for a fix requires more than
just *some* initial data. For example, it might also need the reporter
to try out a new version, or additional actions that would help up
stream narrow down the cause. I'm just trying to think of a way to make
users more involved in filing bugs and helping up stream in fixing
them.
It would result in a better user experience, quicker fixes (quicker
karma and pushes to updates too) and would lessen the maintainer's
burden among other things.
