no luck.
after modifying the two files and yum clean all
# yum update

It worked for me two or three hours ago :) But
not now
 http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/updates/testing/10/x86... 
still redirects fine to a most apropiate mirror

It would probably be the best if you wait two more days until F10 is
oficially released.
