crash. nspluginwrapper was expecting multithreaded plugins to themselves link and
initialize for multithreading. nspluginwrapper now itself links to libgthread-2.0 and
initializes multithreading in npviewer.
This update removes the previous workaround that restricted a browser plugin to a single
core. Multithreaded plugins like Flash Player 9.0.115.0 should work a bit more smoothly
on multiple core systems after this update.

Excellent - just tested and wpa_supplicant (version wpa_supplicant-0.5.7-20.fc8)
does indeed start at bootup with chkconfig wpa_supplicant on before re-booting.
Am delighted that this seems to have fixed this long running saga.

Tested with ipw2200 on a Dell D610 - works fine.
Tested with rt73usb from in-kernel rt2x00 module - works fine.
Tested with iwl3945 in-kernel in a Samsung Q35 - only works if -u flag
is removed from /etc/sysconfig/wpa_supplicant. If the -u flag is
left in then wpa_supplicant does not load at boot.
However removing -u flag gives a working system with iwl3945.

That makes no sense. -u only enables the D-Bus control interface...
do you have some manual config in
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf that gets used if you turn off
D-Bus support?

I will check again - also I had some issues with nfs - should not have mattered
but I will try putting -u back in and see if it works.

It failed to start wpa_supplicant at boot for the case with iwl3945
with the -u flag
- although there is nothing in the logfiles that I can find giving details,
I did note that briefly during boot there was a message on the screen
which lasted only a fraction of a second saying -Dwextdbus ....... or maybe
-Dextmessagebus with a fail error. This looks like maybe in one of the scripts
there is possibly a missing space but I would need to check the sourcecode.
