The above 2.4.21-20.1.2024.2.1.nptl is NOT a Fedora Core 1 kernel. Which
of the Fedora Core 1 2.4.22 kernels have you had an issue with?
1.5 years? Dunno which kernel you refer to for this or your just meaning
the system, but it certainly isn't the 9 kernel being that 9 was
released in April of 2003.
The A7S333 is a nice board and I own two. One runs the Fedora Core 1
(currently kernel 2.4.22-1.2129.nptl) in production and another crash
test dummy box running Fedora Core 1 with Arjan's 2.6.0 test kernels.

For me the Fedora 1 CD kernel is ok, 2.4.23 is solid, but the 115 errata
kernel for Fedora is unusable, and so bad I swapped to 2.4.23
2115 is the kernel shipped in Fedora Core 1 and the current updated
kernel is 2129.
