How do you expect anyone to help you if you don't say what the error is or how you tried to fix it?

I can't understand why people don't contact the support folks for products not released by fedora???? I saw other messages about Vmware not working on F26 and I checked out their forums and saw responses like "VMware isn't supported in F26 at this time".
I also found this link http://rglinuxtech.com/?p=1939 which could be of help in some cases.
There was also a significant amount of Cross Posting. Can't for the life of me understand why someone would email bugzilla at Red Hat with this query.

Just noticed that. There are times when an image is justified. This isn't one of them as it simply shows a text error message. And not drawing attention to the image by some reference in the body of the email is to practically guarantee that many people will not look at it I for one assume that such images are part of a signature unless told otherwise. My eyes filter them out and I don't even notice they're there.

Indeed. I only saw your reply because I happened to look at the Test list, which I don't normally check regularly.

Sometime's it's hard to know what information to give, but you're better off giving too much than too little. Can you describe the error message you're seeing? It's also helpful if you say, I tried X that I found at site Y with no luck.

After seeing someone else's reply, I'm going to add that most tech mailing lists frown on html, and images are often ignored or stripped. It's always better to use plain text and give a copy of a message in plain text rather than any images.
Please don't take this wrong, we were all beginners once, but it would almost certainly be worth your while to read this article on posting to mailing lists. It's written more in reference to programmers than users, but it does give a lot of very useful advice. http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
Apologies. I accidentally sent something to this list by mistake.
The following

was not meant for anyone on this list. Not sure how it happened, Again, apologies.

Well, to solve the immediate problem, try 'dnf install gcc kernel- headers kernel-devel' (I suspect it'll want those bits too). But it sounds like you may run into further problems down the road.
