Hello all,
I've create a VMWare guest with F8/x86_64 on it and immediately upgraded it to -devel. (Minus some small gnome-panel multi-lib breakage) However, once I reboot the machine (and init finished it course) I got an "ld 'x' re-spawning too fast" and when I try to ssh into the machine I get greeted by "/bin/bash: Permission denied".
If I disable SELinux things seem to work just fine.
Oh, I've relabeled the FS (fixfiles relabel, tried again with .autorelabel) but it didn't solve the problem.
Any ideas? - Gilboa

X was not starting for my rawhide x86_64 on VMware Fusion either (on an intel macbook). X is respawning so fast because its probably not finding usable screens, check your /var/lib/Xorg.0.log.
I think the vmware xorg drv package needs rebuilt with abi fixes for the new X (thought that had already been done). I'll be getting that rawhide reinstalled again in vmware soon and maybe we can get bugs posted on that.
Your bash/login issue I'm not sure about, but there have been a couple kernels with selinux issues in the last few weeks, make sure you're on a latest sync'd mirror and get the latest kernel and selinux policy you can.

You should try again. Hal was failing to start because hal/policykit was not being allowed access to a badly placed file, selinux policy has been updated to temporarily allow this access until hald/policykit is fixed.
