Hello All,
As many of you might know, Fedora WSL is coming to Fedora Linux 42[0]. This will be a good starting point for many people and blocking this artifact will help us ensure the experience is not broken.

I'm not entirely opposed to the idea, but I think a reasonable prerequisite would be to have a method of automated testing for it. Do we have that for Windows?
I think it is good to have wsl for fedora its long overdue. I dont know about automated testing on windows but from being qa volunteer I haven't seen any yet

100% this. I don't have one, and I really don't want to have to come up with one, which would include figuring out whatever licensing hell is involved. Does somebody else want to?

I think that needs a Change proposal of its own and I personally would prefer not to see that happen prior to F43, so we have at least one cycle to work out issues with producing and delivering it before we risk blocking the release for it.

I completely agree with this sentiment, I think we need to get the artifact out there and get feedback for at least one release cycle before we move it to blocking. There's a lot of unknown things here that I don't think are best going straight to blocking on.
I personally now have the ability to test on WSL on both x86 and aarch64 and was disappointed to find out it wasn't official and will look forward to this but there's a bunch of work for a bunch of teams so we need to be pragmatic.
