hogyan fordítsunk általában és részletekbe merülve

Sajnos a levlistán már nagyon látszik, hogy ilyen robbanásszerűen táguló
témát nem lehet így hatékonyan kezelni. Az én véleményem, hogy a wiki a
megoldás az ilyen tudás összegyűjtésére, rendszerezésére és
megvitatására. Persze ez a technológia nem új, ahogy a hipertext sem, és
a fordítások problémája sem. Amúgy kíváncsian várom, mikor vágja már el
valaki ezt a gordiuszi csomót.

Sziasztok!
Fedora Transifexet böngészve pár számomra érdekesnek tűnő
(f)ordítással találkoztam :)
Pl.
FC13 sos:
Eredeti: No plugin enabled.
Fordítva: Nincs engedélyezett dugasz.
Ez a plugin=dugasz egy picit hajmeresztő számomra, talán inkább a "beépülő"-t
tudnám elképzelni magyar fordításnak, ha nagyon muszáj magyarosítani.
Ugyaitt:
Eredeti: sosreport requires root permissions to run.
Fordítva: sosreportnak root jogsi kell a futáshoz.
Jogsi jogosultságot, engedélyt akar jelenteni? Érdekes fogalmazás. :)
Itt is és máshol is előfordul még pl. creater = teremteni szópár,
amiről már mindenki hallott
szerintem. :)
Javaslat: Egy napot egyeztetni, amikor többen ráérünk és átnézzük a dolgokat.
Ki mit szól hozzá?

Sziasztok!
Az alábbiak szerint megtörtént az átállás az újabb Transifexre. Kis
szépséghibája a dolognak, hogy ami miatt ez érdekes, a doksikat még nem
vették bele. Azokat várhatóan 15-től lehet elérni. Addig is van még
néhány befejezendő csomag.

Ennyit tudunk a doksikról:
Docs is not scheduled to start moving the "beats" (Release Notes raw
material) from the Wiki into XML until 11 March (item 25 on Docs
Schedule[0]), so until then, any POT files we build will be empty.
This process is scheduled to finish on 15 March -- Hopefully, we can be
finished not long after that.
The 25 days allowed for Release Notes translation (item 21 on Trans
schedule [1]) should start on 15 March, when there is actually some
content to translate... until then, there's only section headings and
other "boilerplate" text that's the same from one release to the other
anyway...
However, for anyone wants to start a translation in a new language, I
will have this material available in the next day or two when we finish
transitioning docs to the new and awesome Transifex.
