御指摘のサイトを確認するとやはり、翻訳は歓迎しないとの記載がありますので、
元の英文に戻すことにします。

「It would be useful to have translations of the GPL into languages other than English. People have even written translations and sent them to us. But we have not dared to approve them as officially valid. That carries a risk so great we do not dare accept it.」

Fedora での規定が自分の中で明確でないので、ちょっと質問です。
ABRT の翻訳中に GNU General Public License 説明の翻訳に
出くわしたのですが、こう言う種類の法的な文書は翻訳しないことに
なっていたような記憶があります。

ただ、この ABRT（Automatic Bug Reporting Tool）の文書は
単なる説明のような性格もあるので、翻訳しても良さそうな
気がします。貴方の意見を聞かせて下さい。

うにも見えますね。 念のため fedora-trans-list に確認してみてはどうでしょ
うか。 メンテナーあるいはアップストリームの最終的な判断を得るのがよいと
思います。
