This is considerably upping the bar to creation of a new repository, and making impossible the common "collect rpms, launch createrepo" workflow

Note I'm not advocating pushing the translations in the spec file, but somewhere within the package (could be a SourceX-like declaration referencing a detached translation file)

Packages need to be rebuilt anyway when the localisation teams translate the app (and translators complain we don't do it)
Also how often are Description and Summary changed? Pretty never in my experience. That would mean a new Fedora package would be rebuilt a few times for translations just after hitting the repository and then never again. (and this can be hidden to users by pushing new packages to rawhide-only the time translators work on them)

Yes, it was hyped as necessary to make translator work easy, and now you have translators complaining of it.
I just want to let you all know that the commits from Transifex are
going into smolt, and I am able to integrate them upstream quite
Thanks to all of your for your excellent translation work. We really
I have encountered the error of "There was an error while reading the

I see some other languages completed their translation from 'Log of
recent submits' in transifex.
Anyone could you please give me a hand how to fix this error?
I tried today to submit cs.po im-chooser translation thru transifex,
however the first time I got error about "some technical problem", second
time I tried that it says that the diff is empty and it will not commit.
But web repo view shows there is still old file. What's up?
For system-config-httpd the module overview shows some untranslated
strings, however I can not get this file. What I see thru web iface is
completely translated. How could this happen?
Also one RFE - would i be possible to have also "Get" feature in transifex
to download the po in selected language? I am now downloading files thru
web front-end but this is not very comfortable and I struggle wherether I
have correct files.
The last question which is still not clear to me - how's that with those

What should I do with them? Or should they be ignored?
As Nicholas Mailhot mentioned the other day, we've started playing
around with a specific interest group on Fonts.
What we'd like is to have some input from the various localization
groups on what fonts are best for each language/locale. The goal would
be to have a table full of language <-> fonts, so we know which fonts
should be packaged, and what fonts are available (and which of them are
the best) for each language.
So here's the table:
If you know of some fonts your language is best viewed at, please add a
row on the table with some info about it. The page where we keep
analytical info about our fonts is:

I have been contributing and maintaining fedora localization for Oriya
language since FC-6.
But surprisingly I noticed that it's not listed in the L10n/Teams list
So, can the concerned person please update the above page along with this:

To grab a picture clearer myself, I have categorized the modules for FC
by studying the following three urls. I hope that I could list up ALL
modules. They are moving from one category to another along to Demitris
team's effort as well the package maintainers' decision. So this is just
snapshot as at 21-Sep.
We can translate the groups of "Available Now at Transifex" and
"Available at Elvis".
Please correct me when you find any wrong information.
