Publican combined PO files like install-guide

Hi, I would like to find a way to make the translation of the large PO file of the install-guide suitable for teamwork. So far, my idea is to get the translators download the small PO-s from the repository, then merge them into the large combined PO. For example: The translator downloads the Account_Configuration-common.po file from http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=docs/install-guide.git;a=tree;f=hu;h=704… translates it, sends it to the maintainer, who merges it like this: msgmerge -C Account_Configuration_common.po \ docs-install-guide.f11-tx.hu.po install-guide.pot \ > docs-install-guide.f11-tx.hu.po.new This can be repeated for several PO-s from different translators, and then the large PO can be uploaded via Transifex. The small PO files can also be extracted from the large combined PO as follows: msgmerge -C docs-install-guide.f11-tx.hu.po /dev/null \ Account_Configuration_common.pot \ > Account_Configuration_common.hu.po What do you think about this? Would this kind of functionality be useful in Transifex? I mean download a partial PO generated from a combined PO, and upload a partial PO merged into a combined PO. BR, Peti

There is a new menu item that brings up palimpsest: Applications → System Tools → Palimpsest Disk Utility This application can be translated? nikos

Simplified Chinese of Fedora 11 Installation Guide cannot be opened and viewed When I viewed it from the site directly(click the view button), there is a message displayed:Page unavailable Then I downloaded the po file, and opened it in Gtranslator, it lost response. I tried to open it in Poedit, the message showed that:"Failed to convert pofile to unicode". F11 release notes ready for translation

Friends: The Fedora 11 Preview Release notes are ready for translation: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/projects/docs-release-notes/f11-tx/ Translations of this POT file are due back to Docs by 14 April to be included in the F11 Preview Release. However, you may continue to translate content until 08 May to be included in the final F11 release. There is a good amount of new content for this release. Release Notes German Translation error

Greetings, Can someone please take a look at an errors in the de.po file - line 3968 #. Tag: para #: Kernel.xml:145 #, no-c-format msgid "Fedora 11 does not include the <package>kernel-source</package> package provided by older versions since only the <package>kernel-devel</package> package is required now to build external modules." msgstr "Fedora 11 enthält keine <package>kernel-source</package>, die bei älteren Version geliefert wurden. Stattdessen werden nur die <package>kernel-devel</package> zum Bauen externer Module benötigt, wie bereits im Abschnitt <xref linkend=\"sn-Kernel_Flavors\"/> beschreiben." PROBLEM: The <xref linkend=\"sn-Kernel_Flavors\"/> needs to be removed. It is trying to link to a section that does not exist. xref would normally substitute the section name so I believe that the sentence will need some rewritting. Self-Introduction: Ali Fakoor

Hello I am Ali Fakoor from Tehran /Iran and my FAS username is "fakoor". I am a BS in computer software engineering graduate from University of Isfahan and I have been working as a full-time software developer in Esfahan branch of ANSARI GmbH (www.ansari.de) company for three years up to a few days a go and I am currently full-time free :-). My role involved developing high level applications, user interfaces, device drivers , embedded devices firmware and project documentation. I am interested in translating and localization projects (web, docs, wiki). The string "The pm-utils power management utilities ..." is twice in release-notes for F11. There's another one 4 strings ahead with a small difference: "The <package>pm-utils</package> power management utilities..."

In the section btrfs - next-generation Linux filesystem, there's a phrase "To enable btrfs pass <command>icantbelieveitsnotbtr</command> as a boot potion." I guess it meant "... as a boot option."
