Fedora 13 Beta Release Notes
by John J. McDonough
I wanted to drop a note to thank you for the incredible job that you've
done on the beta release notes.
Tomorrow around noon Eastern U.S. time I will be building the RPM for
the beta release notes. If you think you are done and would like to see
your translation in the beta, check that there are no errors.
http://jjmcd.fedorapeople.org/Download/F13/
contains a build of all the languages. If you click on your language
and don't see the release notes, there will be a log file there. The
last thing in that file should be the error that caused the failure.
I have set it to build every few hours, so if you see nothing at all
there, wait a few minutes and try again; it probably means you have just
got lucky in when you clicked!
Once again, thank you so much for the awesome job.

Hi Ankit,
I'm in contact with Rajesh and had mailed the translated po for his
review. He encouraged me to carry on and i'm a long way now in to the
file...I just hoped i could see some results..how the site shall look
etc. I guess you are right..I should keep on working on the po.
Thanks for helping..

Translation of RPM package descriptions
by Zoltan Hoppar
Hi,
I have question, is it possible to have inclusion of package descriptions in
transifex? At Ubuntu I have seen an tool called Nightmonkey (
http://nightmonkey.ubuntu.hu/) witch was created by Istvan Nyitrai (based on
launchpad - if my info is correct). We have similar tool to extract package
descriptions what creates groups of POT? Translators any idea around this?

Self-Introduction: Pierre Carrier
by Pierre Carrier
Hi!
I'm Pierre Carrier (username pcarrier).
I live in Guildford, Surrey, UK, work at Red Hat as a Technical Support
Engineer.
I'd like to work on some documentation translation, maybe do some packaging.
I first met linux about 10 yrs. ago. I can administer a server.
I am also an Arch Linux developer.
I already translated a few TED conferences to French, made some software
translation work on Launchpad, and translated technical support messages
(both from French to English and from English to French).
I do know a few things about product design and UI design, to stick with
the template :)
I can write some code, would rather stick to C, C++, Python, Ruby & Lua
for FOSS contributions.
