Adding currency symbol in indian locale

Hi All, I was looking for adding new Indian Rupee Symbol in Indian Locale i.e. locale with name *_IN But in some of the locale instead of Symbol, localized name of currency i.e. INR is written example: In bn_IN locale int_curr_symbol "<U0049><U004E><U0052><U0020>" INR currency_symbol "<U099F><U09BE><U0995><U09BE>" টাকা here currency_symbol should be ₹ <U20B9>, same application for even mr_IN, hi_IN see the reference of en_US int_curr_symbol USD currency_symbol $ I will make a patch to update new currency symbol for all the locale with *_IN. - Pravin S

Questions for transifex.net move

Transifex team I have a couple of questions as a team coordinator. Could you help? 1. It has been informed that the old server (translate.fp.org) will stop accepting translations on 18-Feb-11. However the file (desktop-backgrounds) [1] is still submittable. Could you kindly check this, as well make all the submit button for other packages invisible? 2. For new translators, manual checking if he/she has obtained FAS account and signed CLA needs to be done by each team coordinator (no CLA checkbox appeared in reg screen). Any safe net in case a team coordinator did not check FAS & CLA but gave approval? 3. In Transifex.net, the same number of particular language teams can exist as the number of projects which exists in Transifex. For example, transifex/teams/ja [2] (works for transifex packages) and fedora/teams/ja_JP [3] (works for fedora packages) consist of different group of members. But with first glance of the team pages, they look much same and confusing. For members sake, could we have a Fedora logo on every page which belongs to Fedora project? or any better solution will be appreciated. Licensing of transifex.net translations

Hi! Exported from transifex.net Fedora translation files have the following licensing message in the header: # This file is distributed under the same license as the PACKAGE package. Does this statement has any legal sense? Is it legal to change it from, e.g. # This file is distributed under the same license as the setroubleshoot package. to # This file is distributed under the same license as the PACKAGE package. ? What is the licensing of all Transifex translations? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Request to change team coordinator (was: Re: Inputs required for move to Transifex.net)

Hi, I need some help, to remove my role of "zh-CN" translation team coordinator, and I recommend TianShixiong to take it. His FAS name is "tiansworld". He is very active in the community. * On FAS I am able to sponsor new l10n committers. During past months I always send emails to those translators sponsored, tell them to subscribe mailing list and if they have any problem, ask Tians or me. Please consider to grant him sponsor right. * The "trans-zh_cn" mailing list is moderated for the first post of any new members, also subscribers. TianShixiong may happily take this job as well. Currently the official admin of mailing list is lliu and xhuang. * The coordinator registry (contains translation team name and email, coordinator email, bugzilla information) should be updated. * Tians has already requested to add a new team entry in the Transifex 1.0 system, and is still waiting for approval. He suspects that only previous team coordinator can create new team and will become coordinator. Transifex.net bug?

Hi, It seems that I have discovered an possibly new bug, that disturbs a bit. If I enter to an new translation without lock, then Lotte (the online editor) is available. If the translator first creates an lock, marks that he/she is working on that file - Lotte's 'Translate now' just simply disappearing. Can anybody confirm this? See you, Zoltan -- PGP: 06853DF7
