The new FPCA at Transifex.net

Hello all,
As you may already know, Fedora has added a new Fedora Project
Contributor Agreement (FPCA)[1], which all who have agreed to the old
CLA *MUST* agree to the new FPCA by June 17, 2011 to continue
contributing to Fedora.
This, of course, also affects the accounts of our translators at
Transifex.net.
In the past days we have been working on some feature requests from Fedora,
that are available just today[2]. One of them is the possibility of (re)sign
a project
CLA, once it changes.
For signing the new FPCA on Transifex, our translators must do the
following:
a) Open https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/fedora/cla/ logged in;
b) Check the checkbox to agree with the FPCA after reading it;
c) Click on "Sign it" and you are done.
Keep in mind that only people that DO have access to 'Fedora Project'
project
at Transifex.net can access the referred URL.
People who do not do it until June 17, 2011, unfortunately will need to be
removed
from the Fedora Translation Teams, so please, help notifying others on the
localized mailing lists.

The clock applet in the upper panel shows events for tomorrow under the heading
igår (yesterday)

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch to Swedish
2. Have a few events in your evolution calendar
3. Click on the time in the upper panel
4. Look for tomorrow's events.Switch
Actual results:Switch
tomorrow's events are shown under 'igår' (yesterday)
Expected results:
tomorrow's events are shown under 'imorgon' (tomorrow)

Transifex Permissions

Hi all,
We will face a problem in the near future that will slow us down with
translations on Transifex. Often projects are handled on a group based
permission level aka projects maintains their own translation teams and
are not using the Fedora teams. A coordinator is in charge for the
approval of new members.
There are several projects with a coordinator who is unresponsive. In
this case a new user who wants to contribute have to wait for days/weeks
to get approved. This is not really bringing us forward and is
frustrating for people who wants to get started.
I think that there needs to be something like a "unresponsive
coordinator process" (The package maintainers do it that way). Or an
other approach could be to let other coordinators approve people for
their language to any group.
What do you think about that? I know this is not really a Fedora L10n
issue but many of the Projects translated through Transifex lands in
Fedora releases.

Sorry we didn't have a proper string freeze. Sorry we did all these
updates in the last minute. Sorry for not uploading the pot earlier.
We have learned are lesson, and we promise to give you the time you
need to translate the website in the next release cycle.
The pot file is in transifex now, "fedoraproject.org master branch".
Summary of changes that affects translators:
* Added titles for all pages (short strings).
* New text for two of the slides in the front page.
* Changed OpenOffice to LibreOffice.
* Changed links.
* Changed every instance of Fedora 14 to Fedora 15.
* Minor changes to some of the desktop basics text in the features page.
And again, we are sorry for not giving you the time you need.

I have just recently started using Linux and decided to give Fedora a
try and liked it from the start. I also like the idea of open source
projects and wanted to start contributing to one, so I chose Fedora to

and more open source software on my proprietary operating system. Firefox,
Thunderbird, Gimp, SeaMonkey, VLC, OpenOffice, Audacity and others conquered
my desktop PC at home. Back then I thought why not trying an open source
operating system as well and said goodbye to MacOS X and Windows.
Currently I'm working as a Customer Support engineer for an international
RFID company. At the beginning of my career I was teacher but lost my
patience to work with teenagers, so I moved on :) As I read through the
german version of the Fedora website I thought that the german tranlation
team could need some help ...

With that said, it is however very useful and important for these
credits to be retained, and I have personally reached out to Dimitris
Glezos at Indifex about this, and several other outstanding issues of
concern. Indifex is putting priority on resolving these problems
(including this one and the Google Auto Translate concern), and I am
awaiting a quote so that we can look to enter into a financial
relationship with Indifex to resolve these issues in a timely manner.

Some translations of Website are not migrated yet

I want to translate "Fedora Account System" recently to build a
firiendly environment for Chinese (Taiwan) contributers recently.
However, I don't find "Fedora Account System" under "Fedora Websites"
Release.
Then I go back to old Fedora Transifex to check if there are any other
Website translations not migrated yet.
The result is : "docsite-publican" and "Fedora Package Database"
besides "Fedora Account System".
Can anyone help with those migrations?
