Language Maintainer - Georgian (ka)
by George Machitidze
Hello
I want to be maintainer for Georgian language for Fedora. I've translated
part of utilities long time ago and want to continue contribution and
finish it. I'm active Fedora user and as a system administrator actively
using it in enterprise environment too. I'm following community activities,
updates, bugs etc, familiar with everything (almost everything, i think
so). I've got some time and want to use it :)
Thanks
Best regards,
George Machitidze

Is transifex not accepting uploads?
by Göran Uddeborg
I tried to upload to the remaining 40 Swedish messages for firewalld,
but I can't. I click the progress bar for firewalld and get a "popup"
(what is the proper term for these kinds of web windows?) with links
to "Download for use", "Download original pot file", etc. Most links
works as expected, but nothing happens when I click the "Upload file"
button.
Is it just me, or is it a general problem? It appears to affect not
only firewalld, I tried a few other randomly with the same effect.

About libreport developers reaction on bug reports
by Yuri Chornoivan
Hi,
I need an advice about libreport developers reaction on this bug report:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=847816
Looking at the new strings on Transifex it can be noted that they just add
new typos in messages and do not mind to fix any previous...
occured
artefacts
What is the best way to react? File another bug report? Forget about
translation of this package until the problems will be fixed? Nevermind
until the translation is right?
Thanks in advance for your advices.
Best regards,
Yuri

Need help of Publican project maintainers at Zanata
by Nik Kalach
Dear Publican maintainers,
Please, add Interlingua language to the Publican projects located at Zanata so our translation team can submit the translations and use Publican to build documentation with Interlingua localization. I would like to get this done before Beta release of Fedora 18 so we can get Publican ready for Interlingua during Fedora 18 life cycle.
Please, add IA language to the following projects:
publican
publican-common
publican-fedora
Thanks,
Nik Kalach,
Interlingua team coordinator

Installation Quick Start Guide now available in Czech, Dutch, Italian, and Ukrainian
by Jack Reed
Hi everyone,
The Fedora 17 version of the Installation Quick Start Guide has now been
published in Czech, Dutch, Italian, and Ukrainian.
Thanks so much to the following people for their hard work on this book.
- Josef Hruška, David Jaša, Petr Kovar, and Michal Vaněk, for the Czech
translation
- Geert Warrink, for the Dutch translation
- Cristian Caracciolo, Manuel Ospina, Mario Santagiuliana, Antonio
Trande, and Francesco Valente, for the Italian translation
- Yuri Chornoivan, for the Ukrainian translation
(I am thanking the whole team, as listed on Zanata, but special thanks
to those who led the way with this book.)
Thank you all especially for adjusting to Zanata for this book for this
release, especially if this was your first time using it. We've had a
number of setbacks with the Installation Quick Start Guide, so thank you
for adapting so capably and producing such a great result.
Cheers,
Jack

Installation Guide now available in Dutch
by Jack Reed
Hi everyone,
The Fedora 17 version of the Installation Guide is now available in Dutch.
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/nl-NL/Fedora/17/html/Installation_Guide/ind...
Thanks so much to Geert Warrink for his hard work on this. The
Installation Guide is a massive book and this is the first Dutch edition
since F14, so translating the many updates that have been made since
then would have been a big undertaking.
Geert, if this was your first time using Zanata, then even deeper thanks
for adapting so well to the new arrangement and producing such an
impressive result.
Cheers,
Jack
