Fedora Media Writer translations merge conflict

Hi, Can someone please look at https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/issues/645? The repository for Fedora Media Writer cannot now merge changes as there is a conflict. Thank you. Regards, Jan Grulich

Our team's documentation

Hello all, I have worked on some changes to the documentation of our team.[1] I'm waiting for the changes to be merged to the staging[2] instance of the Fedora Docs, where you can review them "live". Meanwhile, you can have a look at the corresponding pull request in the documentation repository in Pagure.[3] I'd be grateful if you could provide your comments (corrections, ideas, inputs?). Particularly, I'd welcome if our Weblate admins could review the hosting.adoc, ie. "Translation projects in Weblate". Also I'd like to ask Francois (darknao), if he could review in "Translation hints and tips" my (trial of) explaining of template interpolation (curly brackets) applied in the fedora-website-3.0. Thank you very much for looking into this. Please help translate the new installer interface

Hey, folks! I've been testing the new installer interface that's being used on the Workstation live image for Fedora 39, and while testing things in non-English languages, I noticed the translations for several languages which usually have very good coverage are very incomplete (e.g. French, Russian and Japanese). I absolutely get that everyone's a volunteer and I don't want to put any pressure on anyone :) Just wanted to flag up that the new UI means there are an unusual amount of new strings, and it would be awesome if folks do have the time to work on these translations before we get to Final. The installer team tells me there shouldn't be *too* much change to the strings between now and then, so the work shouldn't be wasted. If anyone's also on the GNOME translation teams, there's a new screen at the end of gnome-initial-setup - "Try or Install" in English, replacing the 'welcome screen' we had on live boot before - which is also missing translations in some key languages (inc. Checking of the syntax of Fedora docs translations

Hi, Considering that the translations might contain AsciiDoc syntax errors (e.g. link:https://something with space between) that break the intended syntax, I was thinking about working on a programmatic way to check these translations to pop up warnings. Things I believe would be necessary: 1- Get a list of documentations that are currently being translated to link respective translation repos and source code repo; 2- Figure out how to check each and run that for all docs listed; Before I go running around possibly reinventing the wheel, do we have something to ease this task? Also, is there a centralized place for me to get this list of docs being translated? Best regards, Rafaele
