Self introduction - Justinas K. - Lithuanian

Hi all, name's Justinas, username's wajajan. I am a Lithuanian IB student who has been using Linux distributions exclusively for about a year now with some prior experience. I have been hopping around distros for a while until I settled for Fedora 41 Workstation (KDE) not long ago and I love the system, it's intuitive and stable. I thought I would contribute to translating into Lithuanian for Fedora as a pastime and a commitment I can confidently make. Moreover, I have always had an interest in bridging local and international contexts, thus I have an inherent interest in translating really anything to my native language - Lithuanian. I also speak Russian, German, and obviously fluent in English. I would also like to request to be added to the L10N group on the FAS system. Yours sincerely, Justinas K.

GNOME Has No Czech Translators

Dear translator teams, here is a request for help to translate GNOME in Czech. Please share it on the internets and with people that may speak this language. https://enblog.eischmann.cz/2025/02/11/gnome-has-no-czech-translators/ This highlight the fact that the way we do translation is not efficient enough to be sustainable over time. List of projects to translate - and new Anaconda UI

Dear translators teams, tl;dr I updated the component lists we have in weblate: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/#componentlists there is now 4 components lists in Weblate in order to help you to find what to translate. This is a suggestion, you can still translate whatever you want :) While this does not aim at listing every single project, this is a living list, it can be updated if some key projects are missing. Fedora project contains key Fedora specific projects (anaconda, media writer, etc.) https://translate.fedoraproject.org/component-list/fedora-project/ => As far as I know, this contains the new Anaconda webui that will replace old Anaconda in Fedora 42 :) Fedora websites contains non-contributor content https://translate.fedoraproject.org/component-list/websites/ Fedora docs contains key documents to be translated, Fedora project description and fedora 41/42 specific pages https://translate.fedoraproject.org/component-list/fedora-docs/ Fedora upstream contains what I understand to be important Linux wide projects we host/contribute as Fedora community: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/component-list/fedora-upstream/ I hope this may help you to know what to translate.
