[Fedora-trans-list] trying to get CVS but i cant :(

hi;

im trying to enter in CVS to colaborate in spanish traslation, but when i try to get in i get this:

cd /home/juanma/traducciones/ && cvs -f -d 
:ext:[e-mail]:/usr/local/CVS checkout -P po_rhgb
elvis.redhat.com: Connection timed out
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if 
any)
[Terminado con estado 1]

is like the server wait , and wait, and wait .......
conection timeout  :(

can somebody help me????

Hola Juan,

Hace un par de semanas tuve el mismo problema. Lo solucioné usando
Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org) para bajar los archivos.

No se cual es la razón por la cual el acceso a CVS falla desde una
terminal y funciona desde Eclipse.

Sorry, I thought I was replying to the Spanish list, not the main one.

Hello Juan,

Two weeks ago I had the same problem. I solved it using Eclipse
        (http://www.eclipse.org) to download the files.

I don't know the reason why CVS access fails from a terminal and
        works from within Eclipse.
