Work lost in "Various"

Hi,

Does something happen yesterday with Tx?
The anaconda is now perfect, but we lost the work done in "Various"
(paprefs and pavucontrol).

when you suspect that there can be such an issue, you should take a
look at the project's actual repository, for instance using the web
interface. You can take a look at the history to determine whether the
work was lost or it's just a tx error.

Checking right now. One question: It's required to add the language code
to the LINGUAS file?

LINGUAS file is not available, so you have to get it from each
project's repository and submit it as a patch.

Well, actually you can submit any file to the VCS that matches with the
component file filter set up on Transifex.
In the current version of Transifex you can see all the files in the
repository that match with component file filter at the "Add a new
translation" form, at the component page.
Anaconda doesn't seem to use a LINGUAS file though.

When submitting the LINGUAS file I get this error message:

"Your file does not pass by the check for correctness (msgfmt -c).
Please run this command on your system to see the errors."

This is not friendly enough for translators. Can I just ask to someone
to add "pt" to pavucontrol and paprefs ?

I just did a hot fix on the server and it should work properly now.

Hi,
I found my error. I can now submit the 'po/LINGUAS' file in Tx. And I
did it.

I checked the web git interface [1]. The LINGUAS file is Ok. The PO file
is Ok, But the stats in Tx report 0%. :(

Yup, It's true and it's correct.
You have committed by mistake a pt.po file that is not from that project.

You committed here:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/projects/pavucontrol/master-tx/
a pt.po file from here:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/projects/paprefs/master-tx/

That's why it's 0% translated. Tx does a merge with the POT and there is no
strings that matches with the (wrong) file.

As Transifex works as a bridge between translators and repositories of
projects, there is no way to lost a work done in the previous day if the
commit was successfully.
Every single commit done on Transifex pushes the changeset to the upstream
repository at the same time that it's executed.
In fact, the stats of Transifex reflect the upstream repository as it is.
