Hi --
The files for two documentation projects[1] in Transifex are now very out-of-date and need refreshing. However, for a number of reasons, this is not straightforward in the case of these two books.
Is there any way to turn off submissions to these books temporarily while we straighten out the problems? I can only seem to find options to delete the projects entirely.
Cheers Rudi

You can do that when you modify a resource:
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/PROJ/resource/RES/edit/

Great; thanks Dimitri -- although I'm still not seeing it, for example here:
https://fedora.transifex.net/projects/p/fedora-install-guide/edit/
Is it the "private" box I need to tick?
Cheers Rudi

Refer to the resource modif page, not the project one. Navigate to your proj, resources tab, choose, edit. See above URL.

Ah! OK, now I see -- sorry! :)
So is there a way to change the status of a group of resources? Or do I need to do them one at a time?
Cheers Rudi

Not at the moment. But would love to see a patch to do that on the client:

Hmm; for now it might just be easier and safer to delete these projects (after making sure that existing translations are pulled into Git, of course) :/

I agree, this is quite bad. Like to add/remove resources on the fedora-docs release[1]. We should remove the Fedora install guide then, but it has to be one by one…
Rudi, You should also update the guide table in order to let translators know that this guide is out to date: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs_Project_guides_table I think this is currently the easiest way to let us know.
I have added "Please check the guide status in order to translate up to date guides on the wiki at Docs_Project_guides_table" on the fedora-docs release description, but should probably added on our wiki/L10n/guide

Excellent suggestion Kévin -- I have updated the guide table to remove the link to these two projects and added the note:
"The Installation Guide and Installation Quick Start Guide projects on Transifex are particularly broken right now. We are working to retrieve the existing translations and make them available again soon. For now, please do not invest your time and effort on these two guides."
Sorry to everyone who we've inconvenienced so far; we will ensure that nobody's work is lost, however!
