What's the difference between these 2 timezones?

Sorry,I'm not in USA and I don't know the difference between

US/Pacific-New

     and

US/Pacific.

Can anyone tell me the difference?It really confuses me when I am doing the
translating work.

I've not heard of "Pacific-New".  Where are you seeing this?  Context might
help here.
