Máximo Castañeda:
But first, are you sure it is an issue in zanata?
I thought my initial message was confused enough to make it clear that
I'm not at all sure! :-)
The editor does
that kind of validation depending on user and project settings.
I wasn't initially using the online editor, I tried to upload a
translated po file. It just ignored these messages.
After your suggestion, I tried to save one message in the online
editor as fuzzy. That gave a new error message:
Save FAILED: id 5623272, messages: translation failed for textflow
5623272: base versionNum + 0 does not match current versionNum 1
That doesn't really make any sense to me. But after It seems it
finally got entered as a fuzzy translation. AFAIK, fuzzy translations
are never used, though.
But you have a point that anaconda might be the appropriate place for
the error report. It is the anaconda developers that somehow need to
mark this message as not being markup. If there is any way to tell
Zanata about that I don't know. But if not, it is perhaps more proper
for the anaconda team to open an issue with Zanata about that. I'll
file a regular bug in RH bugzilla. To begin with, at least.
