Just recently, Package Maintainer Docs were imported from
docs.fp.o . The import mainly involved moving the content
platform to another, but in certain places, the docs were
of date or otherwise in bad shape, so many places were also
during the move.
Until now, only the source English has been moved, next in
translations. This is a part of Fedora that am not very
so I am writing to this list to ask for guidance.
My first question is, does starting a new docs.fp.o site
manual actions to enable localization? Currently, I cannot
about the new Docs site at Fedora Weblate.
My view of people in FLP is that we are not a very
IT/technical skillful group. When I have been in a need for
solving technical matters around translation of docs or
websites recently, I think the most helpful with the weblate
configuration side would be Jean-Baptiste Holcroft
), maybe also
) with more
general infrastructure things (repositories, scripts etc.).
My (perhaps not very clean) understanding is that websites
have a repository of relevant pot and po files
), such repository
is used by Weblate somewhat automatically to pull and push
files from/to translation. Weblate's documentation could be
clearer - https://docs.weblate.org/en/latest/.
The second question is, is there anything that can be done
automatically import those parts of the existing Wiki
are still valid? The fact that the move was combined with
too complicates this, but I would like to at least check if
some automation that could help.
I'm sorry for this not very convincing advice.
