System -> Administration -> Printing menu option

Which pot file has the string for the GNOME menu option System ->
Administration -> Printing ?
I remember I corrected it's Spanish translation for Fedora 8, but in
Fedora 9 and 10 it's with the old wrong translation again.

I ran into a similar conundrum recently.

Your string is probably somewhere in upstream Gnome menus now.

redhat-menus source hasn't been refreshed in years now and is not in
sync with Gnome menus...

Looks to be "system-config-printer".

Try to find the following two strings in the .po file:

#: ../system-config-printer.desktop.in.h:1
msgid "Configure printers"
msgstr ""

#: ../system-config-printer.desktop.in.h:2
msgid "Printing"
msgstr ""

I had a run into similar problem earlier.

Also perhaps, imho, maybe we could perhaps file a bug to change the string
"Printing" to a more 
easily understandable noun-version. While translating without context, people generally
accept 
"Printing" to mean an "ongoing printing job".

There is no gui/printer-gui.glade file any more, and hasn't been for
quite a while.

Yes.

The '#: ' line is the reference.  The '# ' lines are just comments, and
presumably 'make update-po' moves the current reference to a comment if
the string no longer comes from that file.

I will change that string's translation.
No need for a bug report.
And as I said before [1], improvements are noticeable. I'm happy with
the automatic way system-config-printer and cups work.
