Bug 550889: Please provide /usr/include/com_err.h symlink in
{e2fsprogs|libcom_err}-devel
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=550889
------- Additional Comments from Mitchell Berger <mitchb(a)mit.edu>
I just noticed that the triage group set a needinfo flag
for me on this ticket. This is incorrect; no info is being
waited for from me. I'm not sure that it makes sense to
hold off on this any longer for Ted's reply, either... it's
been over 13 months since this ticket was opened, and we're
just asking for a symlink that exists in the Debian-based
distributions, and the absence of which prevents some software
packages from finding their dependencies with autoconf unless
their build flags are kludged.

Any progress update on this 2004 feature request?
LVM striping has become much more important recently, because LVM supports the
TRIM/DISCARD functionality necessary to keep SSD performance optimal.
While mdraid currently does not.

needinfo canceled: [Bug 519061] update rpmdev-newspec to match guidelines

------- Additional Comments from Ville Skyttä <ville.skytta(a)iki.fi>
newspec now filters constructs from spec templates that are not needed in the
target rpm verson. The target rpm version is the system rpm version by
default, and can be changed with for example RPMVER=4.4 in
~/.config/rpmdevtools/newspec.conf

Hello.
I am experiencing what I believe to be a similar recurrance to this bug. I use
gnome-rdp & tigervnc to remotely connect to other machines. When I restore back
to windowed mode from full screen mode after the screensaver timeout, the
screensaver kicks in. Moving the mouse while the screensaver is fading in has
no effect.
I originally reported this as a gnome-rdp bug (bug #666927), but after seeing
it happen with both gnome-rdp and tigervnc, I did more searching and ran across
this old bug. While minor, it is very annoying and looks weird when other
people see this happen to me.
