[I'm not posting this more broadly because it's an implementation
detail, but I wanted to run it by anyone who may be subscribed to this
list]
Right now, the Prioritized Bugs process[1] uses a combination of the
Whiteboard and Keywords fields in Bugzilla. This makes it a little
annoying, and it also leads to problems when development teams also
use the "Triaged" keyword as part of their work flow.
I propose that we change the Prioritized Bugs process to use a new
fedora_prioritized_bug flag in Bugzilla. It would work in a similar
fashion to fedora_review: bugs are nominated by setting the flag to
'?'. Bugs that are accepted will have the flag set to '+'. Bugs that
are rejected will have the flag set to '-'.
This avoids conflicts with other workflows and allows for easier
automation of meeting agendas and status pages.
If there are no objections by next week's Prioritized Bugs meeting, I
will implement the new workflow and update documentation after that
meeting.
