Hya,
Just a questions what about auto-closing tickets after a certain time for tickets on NEEDINFO status. It happens VERY often that when I set a ticket to "NEEDINFO" the reporter doesn't respond. Imho this a waste of time for us, and these tickets won't be closed anyways.

Thats a good idea. How long do you think would be a appopriate time before auto closing a bug report. 2 weeks?

Kindly select bugzilla and report this as a enhancement. Bugs with NEEDINFO should be auto closed after 3 weeks with a comment similar to the following''
"This report is being automatically closed after 3 weeks because the required information to resolve the alleged issue has not been provided. If you have the necessary information, please feel to reopen this report and provide us the details. Thank you"

Hey,
Despite what seems like inactivity, I am lurking and triaging. Anyway, I will talk with Dave Lawrence tomorrow about getting this implemented. However, there might for some reason, be a bug that was set NEDDINFO by an engineer, who does not want it to expire. Also, if we auto-expire anything NEEDINFO, many people might use it as a crutch and decide to ignore things, except now, they WILL go away. Thats a dangerous game to play.
I will talk to Jeff Needle and Dave Lawrence tomorrow about possibly implementing something like this.
