Can Upgrade FC2 -> FC3 While Live?

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to just upgrade directly from FC2 to FC3 with, for example, up2date rather than booting from special installation media. Obviously I'm not saying while a server is completely open and live, but while the machine is still booted such that the only reboot is to boot into the new OS. For the multi-distribution savvy, what I'm asking is if you can upgrade the OS the same way you can with Debian :-) TIA, -Fred

hi,when i try to install a tar.gz program,after "./configure" command it gives this error: "checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!" what do i have to do?

You know Bob, some people have real jobs and lives. They may not be zealots devoted to the Fedora religion. So they complain when things change unexpectedly. Laptop Battery Usage

I might be crazy... but as an ex-windows(xp) user with this laptop Last night .. I used the laptop with battery and it appeared that I got almost an extra hour of it. Does Fedora have anything to do with it ? is that possible.. or ... I am just crazy or got lucky? Thanks T

yum the ipw 2100 wireless card

Adding a network printer

I need to add a HP LaserJet that is on my network. However, I don't know what type of queue I should use. I already tried CUPS, LPD, and others types but none worked. Thanks in advance for any help. Martin

Disk Partiotioning

Hi, Is there any way to repartition the disk AFTER installing the system? I tried QTParted, but it doesn't repartition ext3 filesystems.
