Nongraphical terminals very dim

Hi, Recently, I did just upgrade from KDE3.2.1 to 3.2.2, login terminals other than F7 are very dim. X11 works perfectly and so doesn't KDE3.2.2. This problem is also evident on shutdown when the output of processes being stopped are shown. This is not the case on boot. I am using the NVIDIA driver. Kernel-2.6.3 Compilation Errors on FC1
