Interesting suggestion.
I should add the repo to yum (the one i use) and try it in case of failure.
Current Status:
Im in the middle of rebuilding the SRPM for MySQL. Tried rebuilding the php at the same time and it said it needed sqlite3.
I tried "yum install sqlite" and it installed sqlite-2.8. I already tried to be specific and it did not work.
I assume I have to build from SRPM a sqlite3 package, downloadable possibly from any development folder in the mirrors.
Any suggestions?

New Firefox vs. Up2date

The Red Hat Network Notification Tool (KDE Applet) tells me correctly
that there is a new version of Firefox available. The version on the
nachine is firefox-1.0-2.fc3.x86_64.rpm, while the latest version on the
server is firefox-1.0.1-1.3.1.x86_64.rpm. Nevertheless, up2date doesn't
report the new version as available for installation.
Does anyone know why this is? Is the new firefox worth hand
installation?

Dictionary Problems, still

I posted this earlier haven't seen any answers. Anyone know how to edit
the user dictionaries used by Thunderbird and Evolution?
Also, what are this dictionaries named and where are they located?

Sendmail question...

Hi all,
this is slightly OT, but I'm wondering just how I can configure sendmail
to stop doing reverse dns or dns lookups on email that is coming in to
the mail service.
