eggcups -what does it do.

At irregular time on my FC4 machine eggcups just crashes. You get a message window which allows you to file a bugzilla but not a very useful one since the program is just crashing without my knowing just what I was doing to make it crash except I was configuring a printer. MRI Print server

Hi, In a box of junk I recently bought in a car boot sale, I found quite a nice surprise - an MRI parallel port print server. I've plugged it into my laser printer and into my switch. All the lights are lit (well, power and TX). Only problem is that my router won't assign an IP address to it (I have a feeling it was a static IP previously) and so I can't actually get onto it. I've fired up win4lin, installed psadmin to see if that helps, but that won't detect the print server (which if it's on a static IP, that wouldn't surprise me!). Does anyone know if it's possible to do an IP reset on these things without knowing the original IP address or if there is a default address I can try? FC4-Network Problem

Hi All: Since I reinstalled FC4, I realized that I have no internet access. I even wasn't able to syncronize the system clock. My connection type is ethernet. Could anyone, please, help me? Thanks! Let's say that those whom you "understand" got their own country (or countries) and had achieved all of their political and social aims. What would that world be like? My / partion has only about 3 gigs of it's 7 available, but the /home partion has about 8 of its 9 gigs available. Could I put the swap file on the /home partition? swap file vs. swap partition

acrobat reader on FC4

How does one go about installing Acrobat Reader 7 on Fedora Core 4? I got the rpm file from the Adobe site, but trying to install it produces some failed dependencies (libstdc++ 5 something or other).
