Image Magick and .ICO files

Hi, people I can convert .ICO files to .PNG files with convert or mogrify with no problems. Even if there are multiple images in the .ICO files, multiple .PNG files are generated, one for each image. However, I cant do it the other way. When I try to convert .PNG to .ICO, an .ICO file is generated, but it seems to be corrupted. Besides, how do I create an ICO file from several PNG files (several sizes for the same icon)? Thanks, Marcelo

I was able to eventually fix this problem. Here is what I did 1) Did not use the kernel config file from the previous kernel (.config). Using make oldconfig may have been the problem Instead, I did this: make clean make mrproper make menuconfig select only the options I need save config 2) ran: make make modules_install make install ( NOTE: be sure to use 'make install' as it seems to create the proper initrd file ) I was not using 'make install' before. I think this may have been the actual fix as it seems to setup the initial ram disk properly. Fedora Core 5: Don't know how to get changed the max size (1GB) of file in Edit --> Preferences -->Preview

Hi, Would anybody advice me how to get the max limit for file sizes changed in Edit --> Preferences --> Preview. The value list shows 1 GB to be the max size I can use. I would need more than this. Neither can find this information in the documentation. Thank you, Hilkka

Epiphany - Printing Only Selected Text?

I asked this on the epiphany-list mailing list about a week ago and have received no response; so I pose the question here hoping others can point me in the right direction. Earlier that evening, I wanted to print out two of the search results on a specific web page. Being familiar with Firefox's ability to do this from Windows (and having yet to attempt any such behavior with Epiphany on GNU/Linux), I tried to do something similar but cannot find the functionality. In Firefox, for example, this is as easy as highlighting a block of text and choosing "Selection" in the Print Range area of its print options. However, I can't seem to find any such options with Epiphany's setup ("File --> Print"). (So far the closest I've come to this functionality is taking a screenshot of the desired content then cropping as needed and printing through GIMP.) The main reason I want to do this instead of simply copying/pasting to gEdit or similar is to keep the formatting of the text. Is there something I'm overlooking? Something in GConf perhaps that I need to set? Yes, I realize that it runs from jail, but the .rpmsave files were never created, so where did they go? Is my system then still running with the old files? usb flash disk with vmware

bottom taskbar not auto add editable

Greetings; I recall being able to pick up the icon for a link to an application, drag it down the the bottom bar and drop it there in previous editions of kde, but now all I'm getting is a launch of whatever icon I touch in the process. Surely there is room between the F and the pager for more than 3 icons? What am I doing wrong? The weirdness I ran into is my mouse goes "nuts" when I change systems using the KVM. It jumps all over the place, signals various "button down" events, etc. The solution seems to be to just unplug the mouse from the KVM whenever I switch systems and plug it back in after the switch. Does anyone else notice that the fonts in firefox are terrible, wonder why FC6 doesn't include seamonkey like RHEL does?
