Okay, this link is now highly obsolete!
Please don't use it or link to it anymore. The image there has been
removed, since it has a new home. You'll find it at it's new location,
which is here:
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/olpc/0.82/i686/sugar-spin.iso

The liveusb-creator link to the Sugar Spin is still the old one, so
you'll need to download the image manually from the new location above,
until this gets fixed. We're working on it!

Is there a 32-bit compat yum group for X11?
by Neal Becker
I noticed (when trying to install codeweavers crossover office) that 1 machine was missing all the 32-bit compat X11 libs (this is on x86_64) and wouldn't install. Is there a yum group to install all these (and, how would I find out?)

[OT] Max Spevack in Linux Format interview
by lostson
Well got my new Linux Format the other day and on the bottom here is a
little blurb about an interview with Max talking about freedom and
fedora. I have briefly scanned the article and looks to be a good read.
Fedora has been getting alot of coverage in Llinux Format this year much
more than previous years anyway. So things must be getting better right.
Well if your not a subscriber like me I'm sure you can pick up a copy up
at your local book stand or news store. Enjoy.

Old Fedora or Redhat Updates.
by Reg Clemens
I have some current kernel code that I would like to compare to an
implementation of several years ago.
When I try to compile the old kernel, I get an error message telling
me that my C compiler is too new (!).
So, I have some old CDs, and can install an old Redhat (v9) or Fedora
(v1 or v2) but I realize that there were many updates to all of these.
Needless to say, I dont find any updates left on the WEB for these
old distributions.
I havent followed what people selling CDs have. Does anyone sell
OLD distributions including the updates?
Im sure I can get along without the updates (unless they turn out to
be to something significant) as this will all be done behind a good
firewall, but Im interested in knowing whats available. Perhaps in
the future I should copy all the updates to a DVD before they go
away,-- just in case.

best fedora-out-of-the-box pcmcia wifi?
by Matthew Miller
Does anyone have a recommendation for a modern PCMCIA/PC Card wifi card
which just works out of the box with recent Fedora? I can download a
firmware blob if I have to, but extra points for not having to. These days
all new laptops have wireless built in so all the current info I can find
seems focused on that.

VLC QT4 interface?
by David Hláčik
Hello guys,
I have just installed VLC 0.9.5 from rpmfusion to my Fedora 10 Rawhide. I am
a gnome desktop user, but also have qt4 installed - because of Skype.
What surprised me, that this version of VLC opened for me under QT4
Interface. Is there a way to have it under GTK as previous versions?
Thanks!
