Removing openjdk after switching to oracle java

Hello, I changed to oracle jre & jdk which is working fine. Now I need to remove openjdk, but when I give "yum remove java-openjdk" it wants to remove 575 MB of files (which includes vize and eclipse and LO). Can't I *just* remove the openjdk? Junayeed Ahnaf Nirjhor

xsane and devicenames of usb scanners in F17

Hi all, anybody knows something about the devicename of USB scanners which can be used by the xsane command? The manpage says: backendname:devicefile (eg: umax:/dev/sga). Weather app problem.

I have already sent a bug report to bugzilla. Does anyone else have this problem? USCO0019. This is the rss weather feed for Aurora, Co. and I am unable to change the location in the weather app in gnome-shell. Please advise. There was a testing update and it does not work. Will you try the feed given and see if you can make it work. -- All things are workable but don't all things work. Prov. 3:5 & 6

Hi, I have some users that delete .history file (in tcsh shell), so I can't see their commands. Can I disable the command "unset history"? If it is not possible, what can I do? Thanks in advance Tiziana
