On my Fedora 22 system, ps -aef shows:
someuser 3097 3086 0 18:32 ? 00:00:01 /usr/libexec/mysqld
--defaults-file=/home/someuser/.local/share/akonadi/mysql.conf
--datadir=/home/someuser/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/
--socket=/tmp/akonadi-someuser.xEIhbs/mysql.socket
I have never explicitly installed mysql (I use PostgreSQL for all my real
database requirements) so wonder why this is there.
Can I safely zap this and, if so, how?
Cheers and all the best for the silly season,
Stephen
