Delta RPMs -

Is dnf no longer using delta rpms? I updated two computers this morning and it looks like both were 100% rpms ... VMware player with Fedora 26 (kernel module not loaded)

Hi everyone, anyone found workaround on getting VMware player loaded without problem ? I saw people posted on VMware community board and the respond are less, so I try my luck posting here. $ uname -a Linux fedora26 4.12.8-300.fc26.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Aug 17 15:30:20 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I already compiled the vmmon and vmnet library source successfully, copy both *ko file to /lib/modules/<kernel version>/misc, ran depmod -a command and reboot. VMware still asking to locate and check GCC, a working workaround is to run with "/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmplayer " command but when I loaded *vmdk into VMware then I getting "Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon’ is loaded”" Tried both latest VMplayer 7 and 12. I still gettting the same error. I only have 2 kernel installed right now $ rpm -q kernel kernel-4.11.8-300.fc26.x86_64 kernel-4.12.8-300.fc26.x86_64 Tried with older kernel and still face the same error -- Best Regards, RN

i686/x86_64 conflict when installing steam

Hi there, since last week, I got some issues when attempting to update the system. Multiple packages i686/x86_64 are conflicting with each other. I attempted to deinstall most of the i686 packages on that system, however when I try to reinstall steam again, it tries to pull them in. Bug? Multiple password prompts for encrypted partitions

Hi all, I'm seeing a similar error to what is described in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470740 Essentially, I have to enter my password 3 times on boot before my encrypted partitions unlock and I can boot, using graphical entry. If I hit Esc and enter at the text console, it seems to work on the first attempt (most of the time). I have 3 encrypted partitions (/, /home, swap), but these don't seem to correspond to the number of times I have to enter. In other words, the behavior does not appear to be unlocking one partition at a time. After the first entry, it pauses a second, as if I've entered incorrectly (even though I haven't), and then the second entry errors out and resets the input field instantaneously, as if no attempt was made to unlock the drives. Then, the third entry works normally. This is a recent issue for me, as I've had the same setup working across several of the last few Fedora releases. I've only seen this issue after upgrading to F26, and even then, it only appeared after some update (not sure when). Does anybody have any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot this, or have any ideas why this is happening? Perhaps a more recent bug report which matches? Any help would be appreciated, as this is quite annoying.

f26 chroot PATH doesn't include /bin

I have an old CentOS5 that I chroot into. On my old f20 box, PATH included /bin, but now on f26 it does not. I don't understand how this could happen; I would think that PATH is set inside the chroot by the shell. How does PATH get set?
